What is Blast Freezer Cold Room

A cooling tower can be divided into natural ventilation cooling towers and mechanical ventilation cooling towers according to different ventilation modes. The natural draft cooling tower uses the flowing air caused by the air density difference inside and outside the tower to carry out the water-air heat exchange; the mechanical ventilation cooling tower uses the fan to generate the flowing air to speed up the water-air heat exchange and achieve the purpose of heat dissipation and cooling. A blast freezer cold room is a kind of mechanical ventilation cooling tower with a fan installed at the air inlet.

Mechanical ventilation cooling tower is divided into draft cooling tower and blast freezer cold room. Its distinguishing way is that the former uses the exhaust fan to create the flowing air, and the latter installs the blower at the air inlet to force the airflow. The exhaust fan makes the tower in a negative-positive pressure state, which is conducive to water evaporation. On the contrary, a blower cooling tower is mainly used in small cooling towers or cooling towers where water is corrosive to the fan.

At present, many industrial and mining enterprises have corrosive components and impurities in the cooling circulating water medium, and the spray type cooling tower without stuffing should be developed in response to this situation. Its working principle is to rely on the fan at the bottom of the tower to force the cold air outside the tower into the tower through the air inlet duct. The circulating working hot water flows into the anti-corrosion pipe type water distribution system and evenly distributes in each corrosion protection atomizer. The high-speed rotating hot water is ejected and atomized upward, which rises with the air entering the tower and carries out heat exchange. When the droplet rises to a certain height, it falls down naturally and meets the rising cold air for secondary heat exchange.

The hot and humid air after heat exchange flows to the anti-corrosion water collector and is naturally discharged out of the tower after receiving water treatment. After cooling, the cooling water flows to the water collecting tray and flows to the main engine room.

What is Blast Freezer Cold Room

Working principle of blast freezer cold room:

According to the situation that the circulating water medium in many industrial and mining enterprises contains corrosive components and impurities, the principle of blast freezer cold room is to rely on the fan at the bottom of the tower to force the cold air outside the tower into the tower through the air inlet duct at the lower part of the tower; the hot water is evenly distributed to each non-metallic atomizer by glass fiber reinforced plastic or other non-metallic pipe type water distribution system, and the hot water is made high by the special anti-corrosion and wear-resistant nozzle It rotates rapidly and sprays atomization upward. It rises in the same direction as the air entering the tower and carries out heat exchange. When the droplet rises to a certain height, it will naturally land on its own weight. At this time, it will meet the rising cold air for heat exchange again. The hot and humid air will be discharged from the tower after being collected and treated by the dedicated double ripple type II anti-corrosion water collector, and the cooling water will enter the sump.
